A member of the Burning Man Project’s Philosophical Center, and close collaborator with Larry Harvey, Caveat is the author of “The Scene That Became Cities: what Burning Man philosophy can teach about building better communities” (to be published June 25, 2019, Penguin Random House).
Caveat served as the Volunteer Coordinator for Media Mecca from 2008 – 2013, the lead writer/researcher for Burning Man’s education program from 2016 – 2018, and has been hanging around BMIR pestering people for goddam ever. He is the author of the short story collection A Guide to Bars and Nightlife in the Sacred City, which has nothing to do with Burning Man, and the novel The Deeds of Pounce, which is about goblins.
